Sam in a Box

Many quilters use pizza type boxes to store quilt pieces that have been cut, but not sewn together. The boxes keep the pieces in order and easy to find.

I know this same story has been told here before . . . I walked away from my work table for a minute and when I returned Sam was sitting in the box with the fabric and the pattern. He stayed long enough for me to get the camera and take his picture.

Lone Star Bike Rally - 2010

We went to the Lone star Bike Rally in November 2010. Just me and 450,000 other people! Downtown Galveston is called the Strand. Early in the morning, before everyone is awake. the Strand looks like the first picture. The Strand looked a little different during the Lone Star Rally (second picture).

Christmas Table Runner

The reunion/deer roast quilt is quilted! Now for the binding.

In the meantime, here is a mini tablerunner I made for a friend. She decorates her kitchen with Gingerbread Men.

Completed a few rows of the quilt. The top is about half way done in the first picture. The second picture is the completed center without the outer border.
